Here's why you should join SXSW - South by Southwest... taken from my orginal SXSW post.

Why Join SXSW?

If you love music and movies, you’re crazy if you don’t want to join SXSW! Like we said, it is the largest gathering of interactive, film, and music festivals and conferences there is!
Aside from that, here are a couple of reason why you should participate or at least join the celebration of SXSW:

• SXSW is one of the largest music festivals in the United States
• SXSW Film has become one of the world’s premiere film festivals
• SXSW Film is focusing on new directing talent
• SXSW Interactive has a strong followings among web creators and entrepreneurs
  
• SXSW offers a free musical sampler each year

On a final note, The South by Sourthwest 2009 festival will be held March 13-22, 2008.
